NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A man is dead following a shooting in the Desire area over the weekend.
According to the New Orleans Police Department, around 9:34 p.m. on Sunday, April 26, they were called to the scene of a shooting in the 3200 block of Oliver White Avenue.

Responding officers arrived to find a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene by NOLA EMS.
