ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – Hundreds of donned their favorite merchandise and cosplays and flocked to the Dena’ina Center in Anchorage this weekend for the two-day Arctic Comic Con 2026.
The event spanned all three floors of the center and treated attendees to vendors, celebrity performances and meet-and-greets, gaming tournaments and many other attractions.
“We’re up by 25% from last year,” Arctic Comic Con co-founder Mike Lajoie said of this weekend’s turnout. “People are gravitating to this, it’s overwhelmingly positive, inclusive. Everybody here is welcome here, and it’s a great environment.”…
