Wichita police find no explosive after building evacuated

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — The Wichita Police Department was called to the report of a suspicious device Monday.

It happened shortly after 10 a.m. at a building at Central Avenue and Woodlawn Boulevard. The building was evacuated as a precaution.

Pair make first appearance in Salina shelter animal cruelty case

The bomb squad responded to determine what the object was. The team was able to determine that it was safe and didn’t pose a danger to anyone.

The building has reopened, and police have left the area…
