ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A Bernalillo County jury found a woman guilty of stealing thousands of dollars’ worth of jewelry from the Animal Humane Thrift Shop in Albuquerque.
Nadine Gonzales was caught on surveillance footage opening a display cabinet, removing a necklace, and placing it into her purse in March 2025. In total, Gonzales stole approximately $3,900 worth of jewelry.

She was convicted of shoplifting (over $2,500 but not more than $20,000) and conspiracy to commit shoplifting (over $2,500 but not more than $20,000).
