ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Mother’s Day is about two weeks away and the Albuquerque BioPark Zoo may just have the perfect way to celebrate.
The zoo is offering a special Mother’s Day experience. They will have live music throughout the zoo, interactive animal discovery stations and family-friendly activities. They will also have some snack bars and specialty cocktails – and you’re welcome to bring a picnic and relax on the grass.
Volunteers will staff the discovery stations from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The stations will encompass hippos, parrots, alligators, kangaroos and wallabies, herd animals and primate families…
