A large amount of mail spilled out on a highway in Upstate New York, according to officials.
WROC reports paper, envelopes and more were seen flying out of a truck Monday along Interstate 390 near the Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport. The New York State Department of Transportation and passersby shared video of the debris along the I-390 northbound expressway at the Scottsville Road on-ramp.
A U.S. Postal Service spokesperson said the truck was a contracted vehicle hauling undeliverable bulk business mail to be recycled. No regular USPS mail or packages meant for delivery were involved when the bale of paper mail was “inadvertently dropped.”…
