CONWAY, S.C. (WPDE) — The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) filed a lawsuit against a Conway man charged in a dogfighting investigation.
On April 15, investigators searched 47-year-old Prentice Shiobhan Jackson’s home on Bellatrix Court, where he operated “Pnitty’s Kennels,” warrants said. More than 30 dogs were found in bad condition, with reports describing the animals as underweight, in an unsanitary environment and experiencing untreated medical conditions.
As a result, Jackson was charged with 33 counts of ill treatment of animals, 16 counts of animal fighting or baiting and one count of criminal conspiracy. Another individual, Rontisha Elena Huggins-Jackson, 48, was charged with criminal conspiracy…
