Neighbors invited to give input on new northeast Sioux Falls park

The city of Sioux Falls is moving forward with plans for a new park in northeast Sioux Falls — and asking neighbors for feedback this week.

A public meeting for Wild Meadows Park will begin at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Oakview Library, 3700 E. Third St. City staff will share initial concepts and ask for input from those who live in the area.

The 4-acre park is planned at 5200 E. Brennan Drive.

“Community input is essential to creating a park that reflects the needs and priorities of the neighborhood,” said Mike Patten, park development manager for the city. “We encourage residents to attend, share ideas and help shape the future of their park.”…
