PLAINFIELD, Ind. — A vehicle struck a juvenile who was riding a moped in Plainfield on Wednesday evening.
According to the Plainfield Police Department, officers were called to the area of Center Street and Sugar Grove Road in response to reports of a personal-injury accident.
The juvenile was reportedly driving an electric moped through a trail system when they attempted to pass through a crosswalk and were struck by a vehicle. The juvenile was transported to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment after sustaining non-life-threatening injuries…
