TOLEDO, Ohio — General Motors is making another significant investment in its Toledo manufacturing footprint, announcing $40 million more for its Toledo Propulsion Systems facility as part of a broader nationwide spending plan.
The new funding will expand production capacity for the plant’s 10-speed transmissions, a key component used in the company’s light-duty trucks and some of its most in-demand vehicles.
