DeKalb County puppy mill dogs up for adoption, criminal investigation underway

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Authorities rescued 43 dogs from a home in DeKalb County on Monday night after an anonymous tip led investigators to what officials are calling an animal hoarding situation.

The case began when someone reported seeing a dog that was in bad shape, according to DeKalb County Sheriff Brady Thomas.
