GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — For Nathan Lawson, every day spent at home with his family feels like a gift. It wasn’t long ago that something as simple as watching his four children play in the backyard felt out of reach.
Nathan’s medical issues started last spring with unexplained weight loss and fatigue. His wife, Kim, “forced” him to go to his doctor.
“I made him the appointment,” Kim said.
“It was just this crazy, random happenstance that they did a blood test,” Nathan said. “The blood test revealed that I might have a blood clot in my lungs.”…
