GREENSBORO, N.C. — Dozens of people are scrambling to find a place to stay after the city shut down a Greensboro extended-stay hotel, forcing residents out with little notice and leaving some questioning how it unfolded.
Among them is Patricia Hicks, who said she had been living at the Studio 6 on Veasley Street for nearly a decade.
