Ohio tree trimmer launches business to support mission of rescuing cats stuck in trees

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – It was never Angelo Ciammaichella’s intention to become a cat rescuer, but the tree trimmer had the tools and the ability, so now he travels all across Ohio to help cats stuck in trees.

“The first couple of rescues I did, I didn’t honestly know if it was a thing,” said Angelo Ciammaichella. “I didn’t know how often cats got stuck in trees.”

Ciammaichella is now known as the person to call if a cat needs help getting down from a tree in Ohio. In total, he estimates he has rescued more than 100 cats in the past two years, including cats in the Toledo area…
