‘Flavor Overload’: MSY traveler brings nearly two dozen containers of Tony Chachere’s seasoning

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A “seasoned” traveler leaving New Orleans at Louis Armstrong International Airport was stopped by TSA security after trying to bring nearly two dozen Tony Chachere’s seasoning salt canisters on a flight.

MSY posted a picture taken by another traveler, James Noblin, to its Facebook page.

Noblin told WGNO, “The salt smuggler told me they had to bring it back to Nevada because they don’t season anything there.”
