Part of I-75 in Ohio shut down following semi-truck crash

OHIO — A semi-truck crash early Friday morning has shut down the northbound ramp from the Anthony Wayne Trail to Interstate 75, leading to significant traffic disruptions across the Toledo area.

According to officials, the crash occurred around 1:30 a.m. when a semi overturned after striking a bridge abutment wall and a pole. The truck, which was carrying tomatoes, spilled its load across the roadway, blocking the three right lanes of I-75 northbound and bringing traffic to a standstill.

Emergency crews responded to the scene, and the driver of the semi was transported to a hospital. The driver’s condition has not been released…
