DENVER — City officials and community members will gather Friday to mark the reopening of La Raza Park following a $2 million renovation project.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. May 1 at the park’s central plaza, or kiosko, at 1501 W. 38th Ave.
Speakers are expected to include Denver City Council President and District 1 Councilmember Amanda P. Sandoval, Denver Parks and Recreation Executive Director Jolon Clark and members of the La Raza Park Community Advisory Group.
