18-year-old, two juveniles arrested after Burlington shooting, guns recovered

BURLINGTON, N.C. — Police have arrested an 18-year-old and two juveniles in connection with a late-night shooting investigation and a related armed disturbance in Burlington, authorities said.

Officers responded around 3:17 a.m. April 25 to reports of gunfire in the 600 block of Center Avenue, where they found multiple shell casings but no victims or property damage, according to the Burlington Police Department.

Days later, on April 28, officers working to prevent violent crime near the Tucker Street Apartments observed individuals in a vehicle linked to the shooting. A traffic stop conducted by Burlington and Graham police led to the recovery of an assault rifle and a stolen handgun…
