NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – Rounds of rainfall are expected from now through Saturday morning. Isolated strong storms are near the coast with scattered light rain north of the lake. A marine warning is issued for Boothville until 9 a.m. This storm is capable of producing waterspouts.
Widespread rain is expected throughout the afternoon and into the night. 1-3 inches are expected widespread. Pockets of 4-5 inches may accumulate before tomorrow morning. Not everyone will see totals like that, but it is more than possible for localized spots.
Temperatures remain unseasonably cool for this time of year with highs in the upper 60s and low 70s.
