Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – The Albuquerque Police Department’s Fatal Crash Unit detectives are investigating a fatal crash involving two motorcycles Thursday night in west Albuquerque.
The driver of one of the motorcycles died at the scene of the crash, which occurred shortly before 8 p.m. at Coors Blvd. and Westside Dr., N.W. The other driver was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
According to police, a Toyota RAV4 was traveling south on Coors and entered into the left turn lane at Westside Dr. as the driver attempted to make a left-hand turn, it was struck by two motorcycles, a 2024 Suzuki and a 2000 Yamaha. The driver of the Suzuki was ejected and killled while the driver of the Yamaha was ejected and transported to the hospital in critical condition…
