Wichita gas prices jump 20 cents in 24 hours, small businesses feel the impact

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – Gas prices jumped 20 cents in Wichita over a 24-hour period, reaching $3.99 per gallon on Friday.

The Wichita price is higher than the Kansas average of $3.87, which increased $0.12 since Thursday.

AAA Kansas said prices could go even higher while a local limo operation is absorbing cost increases to stay affordable, at least for now.
