Hornell shooting over money dispute leads to felony charges, two from Rochester injured

HORNELL, N.Y. (WROC) — A man from Boston, New York, is facing multiple felonies after he was arrested in connection with a shooting in Hornell, New York, that hospitalized two people.

58-year-old Michael Grimmer was arrested by Hornell Police on April 29 after the department got a delayed complaint from the Monroe County DA’s Office about two victims who were shot in the parking lot of the Hampton Inn on April 27 around 11:54 a.m.

Investigators learned that the shooting occurred after an argument over money led to the suspect shooting into the back of a fleeing vehicle occupied by three people…
