ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Several concerned citizens rallied in front of the Metropolitan Court Saturday morning as a call for change in the Children, Youth, and Family Services Department in light of the Department of Justice’s lawsuit involving CYFD. The community rally called for accountability, oversight, and a complete rebuilding of CYFD.

“All of us read the lawsuit and saw that CYFD is failing our kids in the system, and something needs to change. So we are hoping some reform and accountability can come from this,” said community member Morgan Ash.
