Remembering Miss North Carolina 2024: Celebrating the life and legacy of Carrie Everett

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WNCN) — Family and friends gathered Saturday at a Greensboro church to celebrate the life and legacy of Miss North Carolina 2024 Carrie Everett.

“The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love,” said Carrie’s sister Rufina Everett.

Rufina spoke candidly about her sister Carrie Everett at the memorial service at World Victory Church in Greensboro. Carrie was a student at North Carolina Central University.
