Madison Darrah of Holland will cross the stage at Lourdes University to receive her diploma — among the final graduates in the school’s last commencement ceremony.
“I was so sad to hear Lourdes was closing,” Ms. Darrah said. “It was devastating. I can’t tell you how grateful I am that I was able to experience the atmosphere here. It is going to be very bittersweet driving by here after graduation.”
