Rain chance low but not zero for many Monday in New Mexico

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Monday will be mostly quiet for New Mexico with only low rain chances for some, including a 10% chance for the Albuquerque metro.

The metro has a 10% chance at a stray shower later this evening, any time after 8 p.m. However, the Sandia Mountains and areas east may have a better shot.

For those who do see rain today, rainfall amounts will be very little. Breezy conditions will take over once again, with winds shifting from mostly southerly winds to westerly winds heading into the afternoon, with wind gusts ranging from 30-40 mph. Strongest winds will be just off the eastern slopes of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains…
