ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – A semi truck pulling two trailers collided with a traffic pole at a downtown intersection Monday, creating a sizeable road block for a brief time.
No injuries were reported, according to Anchorage Police, who responded to the scene at 12:07 p.m. and had the intersection cleared and reopened by 3:20 p.m.
The truck that was pulling two Matson-logoed trailers appeared to cut the left turn from C Street onto West Sixth Avenue too tightly, resulting in a collision with the light pole and the second trailer container being lifted up into the air on one side.
