LAFAYETTE, La. (NEWS) — The Lafayette Parish School Board announced it could not reach a settlement with plaintiffs in the lawsuit against the closure of Comeaux High School.
The school board was in executive session for more than 2.5 hours on Monday, May 4, to consider the terms of a proposed settlement. A Lafayette Parish judge put the trial in the case on hold in hopes that a settlement could be reached.
