STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Three Staten Island men have pleaded guilty in connection with a scheme to bribe a juror in the federal narcotics trafficking trial of a former heavyweight boxer, prosecutors said.
On Tuesday, Afrim Kupa, 53, entered his guilty plea in federal court in Brooklyn before United States Magistrate Judge Peggy Kuo on a charge of obstruction of justice.
His plea to that count follows those of co-defendants Mustafa Fteja, 54, and Valmir Krasniqi, 35, who pleaded guilty in February and March, respectively…
