Peoria school board may change leadership following Centennial High controversy

PEORIA, Ariz. — The Peoria Unified School District Governing Board will hold a special meeting Tuesday evening to potentially change the board’s leadership in the wake of a high-profile controversy involving two teachers at a local high school.

An agenda for the May 5 meeting shows a possible action item to elect a new board president. The board’s five members decide who among them serves as president.
