WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – Mother’s Day is a special occasion this year for two mothers living almost 1,500 miles apart. They share a special bond after an organ donation saved one of their lives.
Lynda Jensen battled most of her life with cystic fibrosis. She received a second chance at life 12 years ago when she received a double lung transplant.
“That was exciting, but also overwhelming, you know. Somebody lost a loved one, and just had the very worst day of their life, you know,” Jensen said. “So it’s bittersweet.”…
