Horry County police say vehicle break-ins on the rise in Carolina Forest, River Oaks Drive areas

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — Horry County police have reported seeing an increased number of vehicle break-ins in the Carolina Forest and River Oaks Drive areas.

Someone recently smashed the windows of multiple vehicles outside an apartment complex on River Oaks Drive and stole several items from inside the vehicles, Horry County police said. The break-ins reported in the Carolina Forest area have included both forced entry and unlocked vehicles.

No arrests have been reported in any of the break-ins…
