The family of a 72-year-old Alpine resident who was shot dead inside of his home by San Diego County Sheriff’s deputies in November 2025 is taking legal action.
In an April 26 legal tort claim, a precursor to a lawsuit, the family of Robert Liddell say deputies shot and killed Liddell during a wellness check.
