TOLEDO, Ohio — The city of Toledo is expanding its waste disposal and environmental efforts with the opening of a new, year-round recycling facility this summer.
The Clean Toledo Recycling Center will officially open to the public on Tuesday, June 2, at 3900 Creekside Ave. Designed as a self-service facility, it offers residents a convenient, consistent alternative to the seasonal drop-off events previously held during summer months.
Bob Gedert, past president and advisor to the National Recycling Coalition, noted that the facility will fill a critical service gap for many locals.
