New Orleans woman convicted of conspiracy to make counterfeit $100 bills

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A New Orleans woman pled guilty on April 23 to conspiring to make counterfeit $100 bills.

According to the Eastern District of Louisiana, 40-year-old Amanda Cangelos conspired with others to manufacture counterfeit bills and used them to pay for goods and services. She and her conspirators used genuine $1 bills to create the counterfeit $100 bills.
