LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A new Chick-fil-A celebrated its grand opening on Thursday on South Cedar Street with a “Moove-in Party”. For today only, anyone who visits this location wearing cow-print clothing can get a free entrée or kids’ meal.
This is the third location in the Lansing area, and in honor of the opening, Chick-fil-A made a sizable donation to Greater Lansing Food Bank.
“One of the things that Chick-fil-A believes very strongly in is that we’re not just in the chicken business, but we’re in the people business, and we exist to have a positive influence in the communities that we serve. So, every grand opening that takes place in the country, Chick-fil-A donates $25,000 to a local food bank in that specific community,” said Tyler Bursick, Owner and Operator of the new location.
Bursick has worked for Chick-fil-A for the past 15 years and has spent the past year building this location. He says the location has been a long time coming…
