The Hollywood Drive-In restaurant was another 1950s cruisin’ hangout in Lansing, located at 2706 N Grand River Avenue.
The exact opening year is unknown, but it was around during the 1950s and featured an indoor dining area as well. I am told that the Hollywood also had indoor fishing…is that for real or is someone pulling my leg?
During that first couple of decades through the 60s, the Hollywood went through a few different owners. Things slowed down a bit during the 60s when a fire broke out, causing closure for a brief period.
