Downtown Anchorage is set to see its largest trail expansion in decades as the city prepares to break ground on a new one-mile connection between Elderberry Park and the Ship Creek Trail.
The project will expand the city’s “moose loop” trail system while improving access for walkers, cyclists, and other outdoor recreation users.
