TYLER, Texas — A Forney man was arrested by Tyler police after investigators uncovered $30,000 linked to illegal gambling.
Chaudhry Rizwan Ahmed was arrested May 4 for money laundering. He was released the same day after posting bond.
According to arrest documents obtained by CBS19, investigators received a Texas Workforce Commission in reference to Ahmed on May 16, showing no reported wages from 2024 to 2025. Two accounted connected to Ahmed showed a balance of $18,988 and $12,900, respectively, totalling $31,888 in funds…
