HERSHEY, Pa. — As National Nurses Week wraps up on Tuesday, health care workers are continuing to highlight issues affecting nurses in Pennsylvania’s hospitals.
According to SEIU Healthcare Pennsylvania, around 96,000 registered nurses are not working in their field, despite there being 20,000 open jobs across the state.
