SYLVANIA, Ohio — State and local leaders joined community members to celebrate the start of an $8 million expansion at The Ability Center of Greater Toledo in Sylvania during a groundbreaking ceremony Monday.
The center has provided services and resources for people with disabilities across northwest Ohio for more than a century. The renovation project, supported in part by state grants, marks the organization’s first major expansion since the 1980s.
