GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – The Salvation Army of Greater Green Bay is marking National Salvation Army Week with its Expressions of Hope showcase.
The exhibit, themed “Light in the Darkness,” features original artwork created by community members of all ages. Organizers say the pieces highlight creativity, compassion and inspiration from across the Greater Green Bay area.

The artwork is on display at the Salvation Army Kroc Center. An opening reception was held Monday evening, giving guests the opportunity to meet the artists, enjoy refreshments and vote for a People’s Choice Award.
National Salvation Army Week, established in 1954, celebrates volunteers and donors while raising awareness about programs that provide food, shelter, disaster relief, youth development and other support services.
