HOMER, La. — Two people were killed Monday morning in a head-on crash on state Highway 2 near Arizona Road in Claiborne Parish, according to Louisiana State Police.
Troopers with Louisiana State Police Troop G responded to the crash around 10:25 a.m. The victims were identified as Donyull White, 48, of Shreveport and Shirley Mitchell, 72, of Homer.
A preliminary investigation found that White was driving a 2014 BMW 528i westbound on Highway 2 while Mitchell was traveling eastbound in a 2014 Honda Accord. For reasons still under investigation, the BMW crossed the centerline and collided with the Honda, authorities said…
