HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — Harrisburg could celebrate the nation’s 250th anniversary this summer with fireworks, an Independence Day tradition it went without last year.
City officials proposed a resolution during Tuesday’s Harrisburg City Council meeting to hire Schuylkill County-based Bixler Pyrotechnics for a 15-minute fireworks show on July 4. The show would cost the city $48,000.
