CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – A groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled Thursday for a new Charleston County EMS headquarters, a project leaders say will help meet growing demand for emergency services across the region.
County officials said the more than 130,000-square-foot facility will consolidate several operations — including training, logistics, vehicle storage, special operations, and administrative offices — under one roof on Azalea Drive in North Charleston.
