Police: Man accused of hitting Portland officer in the face with softball-sized rock

PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — A North Portland man was arrested Friday morning after breaking into a home, threatening the homeowner and hitting a responding police officer with a softball-sized rock during an ensuing chase, police officials said.
