TODAY:Yesterday we were well into the 50s to start out, but this morning, we are well above that with temps in the upper 60s and low 70s, so safe to say the warmer air has arrived. Yesterday we topped out at 87°, but today well be aiming for that 90° mark under mostly sunny skies. We will see clouds build late afternoon with the chance for some isolated showers and storms. Most of the activity will be from Columbus eastward, so most of Alabama will remain dry today.
THIS WEEK:We’ll be around that 90° mark all week! The big change will be midweek when a front enters the southeast region. It does look like it will stall out north of us, so starting Wednesday, we’ll see our chance for afternoon and evening showers and storms start to go up, but the higher rain totals will be in north Alabama and north Georgia, closer to the front. Expect mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies through Thursday, then we’ll turn mostly cloudy heading into the weekend. Overnight lows this week will be in the upper 60s to near 70.
