Grand Rapids stabbing leaves woman hurt, man in custody

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A woman is hurt and a man is in custody after a stabbing in Grand Rapids’ northwest side on Sunday evening, according to the Grand Rapids Police Department (GRPD).

GRPD said officers were dispatched to the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue NW around 6:20 p.m. for a report of a stabbing.

Police said after the stabbing, the victim had run to the Dairy Queen located at 1138 Walker Avenue NW. When police found her there, she was breathing and conscious; however, they don’t have an update on her current condition…
