NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Nashville firefighters rescued a dog Sunday that had reportedly been trapped between two buildings for nearly two days.
Crews with the Nashville Fire Department responded on May 17 to what was initially called in as a citizen assist request before discovering the dog stuck in a narrow space between structures.
According to the department, firefighters worked with the property owner to gain access to the area and removed concrete blocks from inside one of the buildings to reach the animal.
Firefighters carefully opened part of the wall and were able to safely free the dog without injuries.
