Police say driver tossed bag with 74 cocaine packets during El Paso traffic stop

EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — A traffic stop in El Paso early Saturday ended with an arrest after officers said a driver tried to flee and tossed a bag of cocaine from his vehicle.

Officers on patrol at 3:16 a.m. near 6100 Alameda said they saw a vehicle with a couple arguing. When officers approached, a woman hurried away.

Police then contacted the driver, identified as 30-year-old Bryan Delara, who police said is homeless…
